My journey has been one of a kind. I remembered the first time I was introduced to network marketing I knew nothing about this industry. Most of my friends told me not to be part of it. They called it ‘online stuff’ and online stuff to them were all scams. I really had to convince myself and attend the session and to my amazement I was expecting to meet one person only to meet a group of people who had also attended the same session.
I was just looking for an opportunity to make an extra 2k a week as a student as that would take me a long way in terms of food and setting small bills. I also didn’t like borrowing from family, friends and relatives whenever I was in financial need. I must say that not everyone who attended the training actually got started, some said it’s a scam others found their validating reasons as to why it sounded too good to be true.
I got started either way because I was tired of being broke and was also worried about the future. I saw several people who had graduated before me struggling to get a job and those who already had secured one weren’t proud of their paychecks. Some diverted even professions, I know of someone who graduated from medical school after 6yrs who is currently a DJ. I thought of a salaried person earning 30k a month who spent 3M in education from kindergarten to higher education and just realized that if this person decided to save their entire salary, then it will take this person 8yrs of saving to recover the amount they spent in their education. Not to talk of if it’s even possible to save one’s entire salary. And if one saved 10k per month then I’d take 25yrs to recover the amount they spent in education. It didn’t look logical to me on how spending 3M and 16yrs in school only to learn how to make 30k a month was considered legit and starting a Network marketing business was classified scam.
With the right mentorship and positive peer pressure and competition within the company and colleagues, I found myself dreaming big and getting Inspired to go beyond. The support offered is one that can change anyone willing to learn for the better. The leaders have at heart the best Interest for everyone and challanged me to go beyond.
I never dreamt of one time making my first million in my twenties not to mention that a percentage of the time I worked part-time since I was taking Bachelor of Science Education (Maths/Chem) a course not related to network marketing. But I was willing to learn and so far the journey have been amazing. The friends who at one point told me I was trailing off by being involved in a business which according to them were for the illiterate are currently my top fans and with levels of regrets. Some are still tarmacking but for me I’ve decided to do the business on full time basis. The future is promising and I see my goals being achieved within a shorter period of time compared to my mates who choose employment path.
My joy is seeing my team grow and several of them reaching the 5k, 10k,15k, 20k weekly income brackets. I have form four leavers, students, working class, graduates, teachers, pastors, doctors, stay at home mums, previously job seekers, just to mention but a few in my team. We learn from each other and of course grow together as a team. Team basically means Together Everyone Achieves More, Since TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK. You too have a chance to get started in this journey. If you want to go fast in life, go alone but if you want to go far, have a team. Other industries call it NETWORK, government call it CITIZENS, and celebrities call it TRAFFIC. We call it TEAM because as a team, we have each other’s best interests at heart. We are each other’s keeper.
